It is not hard to see why the stunning cantilevered staircase that majestically winds its way around the Main Hall is frequently chosen as an impact space. Frequently used for wedding ceremonies, it can also be a pop-up food station, feature bar, or even an exclusive dining experience.

Main Hall
Lady Marian Alford
The room was originally used as a drawing room, and boasts fluted columns of rose serpentine marble, marble fireplaces and an elaborate ceiling richly decorated in gold leaf, plus fantastic views of the South Lawn and Italian Garden. This is a popular space for dining.
Old Library
Opening directly onto a terrace overlooking our Italian Garden through the Loggia, this room is a firm favourite for hosting reception drinks. Bonus points if you can find the secret door.
Chapel
The Chapel is often described as one of James Wyatt’s architectural masterpieces. The fan vaulting and rich wood carving are reminiscent of some of England’s greatest cathedrals. We offer the option of an Anglican blessing ceremony and an organist to wedding couples.
Repton
Our magnificent dining room was originally a conservatory that connected the main house with the Chapel. This grand space, which can seat 170 guests, can easily be transformed into the dining room of your dreams.
Wyatt
Formerly the dining lounge, the Wyatt room's impressive Austrian oak panelling was introduced in 1863. This is a favourite for evening music and dancing, and also has a bar attached. It can also be used as an overflow dining space for larger guest numbers.
Loggia
With floor to ceiling windows, The Loggia sits next to the Old Library and overlooks the historic Italian Gardens, making a wonderful place to extend your drinks reception outside. The space is adorned with blue fan vaulted ceiling and amusing plasterwork faces.
